Valerie B. Waid

Valerie Waid has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field, currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Clinical Operations at Meadville Medical Center since October 2007. In this role, Valerie oversees the administrative functions of various services including Oncology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Nephrology, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Laboratory services. Prior to this, Valerie held significant positions at Deloitte and Touche` as a Senior Consultant for Strategy & Operations, and at McKesson as an Executive Nurse Consultant. Additional experience includes serving as Administrator for the Center for Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh and as a Nurse Manager at UPMC. Valerie began their career as a Staff Nurse at Warren General Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from PennWest Edinboro and a Master of Business Administration from Point Park University.
