Darla Olson

Darla Olson has extensive experience in development and fundraising, currently serving as the Vice President of Advancement at Meals on Wheels Orange County since July 2014. In this role, Darla creates campaigns and programs to support capital needs and program growth, focusing on major and planned gifts, direct mail initiatives, special events, and securing corporate and foundation grants while overseeing communications and community relations. Prior to this position, Darla was the Chief Development Officer at Human Options from August 2006 to July 2014, where responsibilities included developing a comprehensive fund development plan to enhance community support. Earlier in Darla's career, the role as Vice President of Campaign at Orange County United Way from July 2003 to June 2006 provided foundational experience in fundraising efforts.
