Allie Wilson is an experienced professional in food recovery and agroecology, currently serving as the Director of Northeast Operations and previously as Senior Program Manager at FoodRecovery.org since May 2020. Under Allie Wilson's leadership, a food recovery network of over 390 organizations has been established in Florida, resulting in the redistribution of over 10 million pounds of food. Allie Wilson also secured a USDA CFWR Grant for a partnership with a major school district, contributing over 80,000 pounds of food to nonprofits. Previously, Allie Wilson conducted qualitative research as a Master's Student Researcher at Universidade Federal de Viçosa and held various positions focused on outreach, coordination, and agricultural sustainability at organizations such as MEANS Database and Self-Help International. Allie Wilson holds a Master of Science in Agroecology from Universidade Federal de Viçosa and a Bachelor of Science in Global Resource Systems from Iowa State University.
