Karol Bąk

Karol Bąk has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and IT management.

Karol started their career as a Ruby on Rails Developer at SmartShack in July 2016.

In 2017, Karol joined Paladin Software as a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer and Team Leader. Karol was responsible for developing both large legacy applications and new ones from scratch. Their expertise included working with technologies such as Ruby, Rails, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, Heroku, AWS, and Vue.js. Karol worked at Paladin Software until November 2021.

Prior to that, Karol worked at Artists Entertainment as an IT Specialist and Backend Developer from June 2011 to December 2017. Karol developed websites and web systems using PHP, Ruby on Rails, Ember.js, and other technologies. Karol also managed servers using Plesk, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, SolusVM, and Redis.

Karol has also been involved in various entrepreneurial and ownership roles. Karol was the owner of WebTie Agencja Interaktywna since October 2013 and the CTO and co-founder of Findbed.pl since September 2015.

Currently, Karol Bąk holds the position of VP of Engineering at Measure Studio, starting in November 2021.

From 2013 to 2018, Karol Bąk attended Jagiellonian University where they studied Informatyka (Computer Science). However, no specific degree name was provided.
