Are you the Financial Accountant that we are looking for?
We are looking for a finance and accounting professional who can play a big part in the day-to-day financial operations. As part of our growth we are looking for a Financial Accountant to help strengthen the financial administration of the group of companies. In order to be successful in this role you need to have effective communication skills and be able to interact with various stakeholders, have a hands-on mentality and have organizational skills. In this role you are responsible for the entire financial administration of the group of companies together with the Business Controller.
The beauty of this new role is to setup an inhouse accounting function were you will be responsible for the day-to -day accounting, month end closing (incl. consolidation), supporting in financial analysis and controlling work and support in monthly reporting for our companies in the Netherlands, Singapore and the USA. As we are planning to implement an ERP system we also need your help in that project.
The role is part-time (28-32 hours a week) and partially working from home is an option. The salary will be dependent on the amount of knowledge and experience that you bring to the company.
Main responsibilities
Dailly processing of invoices from suppliers
Prepare weekly AP batch payments
Manage Intercompany AP & AR positions
Run the month end closing (incl. salary bookings etc.)
Assist with monthly reporting processes;
Assist with quarterly investor reporting;
Be responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare quarterly VAT declarations and submission
File monthly Payroll Taxes
Process new CAPEX and maintain the fixed asset register;
Assist with the forecasting on a quarterly basis
Assisting with preparing for audits and other financial reviews.
Helping to document and maintain financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
