Phil Graves

Phil Graves has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Phil is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at meati™ since February 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Wild Idea Buffalo Company from March 2022 to February 2024. At the Bass Pro Shops, they served as the Chief Sustainability Officer & Foundation President from January 2021 to February 2022. Phil also worked at Patagonia for seven years, where they held the positions of VP, Corporate Development and Founder, Tin Shed Ventures from February 2014 to January 2021. Phil has been contributing as a Board Member for various organizations such as Mango Materials, Bureo Inc, Regenerative Organic Alliance, and the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2016 to 2020. Phil has prior experience working at Deloitte as a Senior Manager Advisory Services from December 2005 to February 2014, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Associate—Financial Advisory Services from August 2004 to December 2005.

Phil Graves holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University. Phil further pursued their education at the same university, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance. In addition to their formal education, Phil has certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
