Lyle Armacost serves as Chief Engineer at Maersk Line, Limited since September 2017 and previously held the position of First Assistant Engineer. Concurrently, Lyle has been a Marine Engineer with MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) since June 2007, holding multiple engineering licenses including Chief Engineer for motor vessels and First Assistant Engineer for steam vessels. Lyle's experience includes a tenure as a Lieutenant in the US Navy Reserve from June 2007 to January 2016, participating in the Strategic Sealift Officer Program. Formerly, Lyle worked as a Marine Engineer for Keystone Shipping Company from September 2012 to September 2014, managing boiler steam power plants and participating in turbo activations and dry-docking operations. Lyle earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and also studied at Calhoon MEBA Engineering School. Lyle graduated from Archbishop Curley High School in 2003.
