Patrick Zarza

Patrick Zarza has extensive experience in marine engineering, currently serving as a 2nd Assistant Engineer with MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) since July 2018. Responsibilities include managing fuel oil transfers, operating and maintaining fuel injectors, auxiliary engines, purifiers, and boilers, as well as supervising the work of 3rd Assistants. Prior experience at Noble Drilling from January 2013 to July 2018 as a 3rd Assistant Engineer/EWO involved prioritizing equipment repairs and managing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Throughout a career that began as a QMED at United Ocean Services in June 2010, Zarza has consistently focused on compliance with company maintenance programs and EPA regulations while implementing efficient procedures for operational improvements. Education includes attendance at Farmingdale State College from 2001 to 2002.
