Rueben Medina

Rueben Medina is an accomplished Infosec Architect currently employed at Mechanical Orchard since September 2024. With extensive experience in cybersecurity, Rueben served as Head of Security at Elpha Secure from December 2022 to September 2024, facilitating collaboration between business and engineering teams and managing Security Engineering and SecOps teams. Prior roles include Security Operations Manager at Twilio, where management of SOC analysts and SecOps infrastructure was key, and Senior Security Engineer at Georgia Institute of Technology. Rueben began a career in IT at Emory University, progressing from RSPH IT Tier 1 Technician to IT Support Professional II. In addition to a robust technical background, Rueben is a seasoned improviser and ensemble member at Dad's Garage Theatre Company since 2006, performing in various shows and international festivals. Rueben holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Emory University, earned in 2008.
