Markus Dupree is an accomplished professional in law enforcement and education. Currently serving as a Law Enforcement Agent at the Mecklenburg County Alcoholic Beverage Control Board since December 2019, Markus has also held the position of Adjunct Professor at Liberty University and Johnson C. Smith University, teaching courses and evaluating student performance since July 2015 and August 2022, respectively. Prior experience includes working as a Special Agent I with the NC State Bureau of Investigation and as a Task Force Investigator at Wake Technical Community College. Markus holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University, along with a Certificate from Central Piedmont Community College's Leadership Academy.
