Calinda Cantu

Calinda Cantu is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as an Accountant II and previously as an Accounts Receivable Specialist III at MECO since February 2020, Calinda also operates a photography business, Images by Calinda Photography, since June 2015. Prior experience includes being a Billing Coordinator at Gulf Coast Office Products in Louisiana from June 2018 to February 2020, and an Accounts Receivable Specialist at J&M Industries, Inc. from March 2008 to March 2017. Calinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University-Alexandria, an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from Delgado Community College, and is on track to graduate with a Master of Business Administration from LSU Shreveport in December 2023.
