Marc Banaszak

Marc Banaszak has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and consultant in the field of entrepreneurship. Marc is the Managing Director and Founder of mecorad GmbH, where they offer a radar-based plant digitalisation solution that enables customers to produce higher quality steel and metals at lower production costs. Marc also founded and managed Prognortis Technologies GmbH. Additionally, they have worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Hochschule Rhein-Waal and as a member of the founding team focusing on marketing and finance at SINCORAD. Marc has provided consulting services to universities in Tbilisi, Georgia, and across Kyrgyzstan, assisting them in building and managing entrepreneurship centers, incubators, and accelerators. Marc has also taken on the role of Head of Project at SAXEED, where they were responsible for entrepreneurship-related projects and served as Deputy Head of Project, as well as provided consulting and research services at Chemnitz University of Technology. Earlier in their career, Marc founded and managed Banaszak GmbH.

Marc Banaszak obtained a Dr. rer. pol. degree from Technische Universität Chemnitz in 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Dipl. Oec degree at Ruhr University Bochum. Marc also pursued studies in Business, Management, Marketing, and related supporting services at The University of Sheffield.
