Victor Abelson

Victor Abelson is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in helicopter emergency medical services and commercial aviation. Currently serving as an Instructor Pilot and Base Aviation Manager at Med-Trans Corporation since September 2020, Victor facilitates high-performance standards at the Highlands IV Helicopter EMS Base in Marion, Virginia, while delivering critical care as a Helicopter EMS Pilot. Previously, Victor held the position of Commercial Airline Pilot at PSA Airlines, Inc., where responsibilities included serving as the second-in-command on a multi-million-dollar commercial jet. With a distinguished 20-year career in the United States Marine Corps, culminating in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Victor demonstrated leadership across various organizational sizes. Victor holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and advanced military education from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College.
