Joe Dustin

Joe Dustin has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Joe has held various roles in different companies, demonstrating their expertise in technology and innovation in clinical trials. Joe is currently working at DIA as the Vice Chair of the Regional Advisory Board, where they represent the impact of technology on the organization's agenda. Joe is also a member of the Advisory Council for the Americas. Prior to this, they worked at Medable, Inc as the Vice President & General Manager for eCOA, leading the business in decentralized clinical trials. Joe also served as the Vice President of Product Strategy. Joe was involved in the adoption of eSource data capture in clinical trials at TransCelerate BioPharma Inc. and served as the Co-Lead of the eSource Initiative. At Bristol Myers Squibb, they were the Head of Clinical Innovation and Change Management, responsible for implementing new business capabilities in clinical trials. Before that, Joe worked at Medidata Solutions in various roles, including Solution Director for Decentralized Trials, Solution Sales Specialist, Principal of Mobile Health, and Senior Solution Consultant. At etrials, they worked as a Project Manager, managing development projects for EDC, ePRO, and IVRS solutions. Finally, Joe started their career at CRF Health, where they held roles such as Associate Project Manager, Applications Specialist/Logistics Support, and IT Systems Administrator. Overall, Joe Dustin has a strong background in implementing innovative technologies for clinical trials and driving change in the industry.

Joe Dustin's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Roger Williams University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Joe also attended Melrose High School from 1994 to 1998. In 2020, they enrolled in Columbia University's Digital Health Strategy program, where they are currently pursuing their degree. Additionally, Joe has obtained several certifications, including DCT Study Build: Certification from Medable, Inc in 2022, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in 2021, and Medidata Rave Certified Study Builder from Medidata Solutions in 2010.
