Reem Yunis

Vice President, Digital Health Transformation Strategy at Medable

Reem Yunis, PhD has extensive experience in the field of digital health and clinical research. Reem currently holds the position of Vice President, Digital Health Transformation Strategy at Medable, Inc, where they are responsible for establishing and managing key partnerships and overcoming obstacles to technology adoption. In addition, they serve as the Chair of the DEI Committee at Medable.

Prior to their current role, Dr. Yunis held various positions at Medable, including Vice President, Digital Clinical Measures, where they collaborated externally to develop digital clinical outcome measures and conducted internal research and development in this area. Reem also served as Senior Director, Digital Science, where they guided scientific strategy for the development of digital endpoints and biomarkers and provided input on utilizing sensor-based digital health technologies in decentralized clinical trials.

Outside of Medable, Dr. Yunis has also been involved in multiple societies and initiatives, serving as a team lead and member. Reem currently serves as a Director on the Board of Directors for the Association for Women in Science. Additionally, they have provided advisory services for organizations such as iFocus and Theranova, LLC, and has served as a consultant for companies including Potrero Medical and Orlucent, Inc.

Dr. Yunis is recognized for their expertise in digital health and has served as a technology judge for The Digital Health Hub Foundation and Digital Health Awards, as well as for The High Impact Technology (HIT) Fund at Stanford University.

Reem Yunis, PhD, holds a PhD degree in Quantitative Genetics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Reem also earned a BSc degree in Life Sciences from the same institution. Reem completed a postdoctoral program at Cornell University. In addition to their academic achievements, Reem has obtained several certifications, including "Creating Your Personal Brand" from LinkedIn, "Managers Academy" from Stanford University, and "Clinical Trials Design & Management" from San Francisco State University, among others.
