Derek Weir has over 15 years of experience in the health and insurance industry. Derek currently serves as the Sales Manager for Voluntary Benefits at Medavie Blue Cross, leading a team dedicated to providing exceptional service and achieving growth objectives for various voluntary products. Derek previously held the position of Manager for Health Benefit Solutions at the same company. Prior to Medavie Blue Cross, Derek worked at Lifemark Health Corp. as a Clinic Director and Coordinator for Assessment Services. Additionally, Derek served as a Disability Management Consultant at Medisys. Derek holds a Master's Degree in Science (Kinesiology) from Dalhousie University.
