J. Albert Walker

J. Albert Walker is an experienced professional in emergency management and operational safety with a strong background in healthcare and special operations. Currently serving as the Emergency Preparedness & Special Operations Manager at Medavie Health Services since March 2018, J. Albert Walker oversees operational safety and the delivery of medical care for mass gatherings in Nova Scotia. Previously, J. Albert Walker held the position of Chief of Safety for the 2022 Nacra 49er 49erfx World Sailing Championships, leading safety operations and emergency response. A former Operations Manager and Manager of Special Operations at EHS, J. Albert Walker managed various operational aspects and emergency management initiatives. Educationally, J. Albert Walker holds a Master of Arts in Justice and Public Safety Leadership from Royal Roads University, an Advanced Care Paramedicine degree from Holland College, and completed crisis/emergency/disaster management training as an Incident Commander.
