We operate emergency and non-emergency ambulance services, medical communications, community-based health solutions, and provide clinical training. These services are provided through 11 subsidiary companies in Canada. Together, we employ or manage nearly 3,500 dedicated, health care professionals.

We deliver emergency and non-emergency medical services in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent in Ontario, Elgin County in Ontario, Saskatoon and surrounding areas in Saskatchewan, and communities across eastern Alberta. Our head office is located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

The Human Resources team at Medavie Health Services is tasked with managing workforce-related functions to support the company’s diverse healthcare delivery operations. This includes responsibilities such as human resources strategic planning, employee recruitment and onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, payroll management, HR compliance, and employee relations. Leveraging specialized roles in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and Total Rewards, the team ensures the effective delivery of HR services across the company’s subsidiaries, thereby contributing to the overall goal of improving health outcomes and maintaining a committed workforce.
