Tammy Conistis

Tammy Conistis, PMP has over 20 years of experience in various roles in the IT industry. Tammy is currently the Director CPMO & IT Planning at Medavie, a position they have held since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager, IT Applications at Medavie Blue Cross from January 2019 to February 2020. From April 2018 to January 2019, they served as the Director Service Delivery at ABM Integrated Solutions, where they were responsible for managing the Project Management Office and delivering IT services. Tammy also has experience as the Manager, Application Development & Client Relations at Medavie Blue Cross from January 2012 to April 2018. Additionally, Tammy has held various roles in the Halifax Skating Club from 2008 to 2016, including President/Treasurer and Vice President. Tammy has also worked at Atlantis Systems Eduplus as the Director of Program Delivery and Senior Project Manager from 2009 to 2011, and at Keane Canada in several roles, including Senior Director Service Delivery and Project Manager, from 1998 to 2008.

Tammy Conistis, PMP has an extensive education history in various fields. In 1992, they attended Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC, where they obtained a degree in Business Computer Programming with a focus on Information Technology. Following this, in 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Saint Mary's University, specializing in Project Management. In the same year, they also obtained a PMP certification from the PMI Institute, further strengthening their skills in Project Management. Continuing their education in leadership development, Tammy attended Saint Mary's University in 2005, earning a Certificate in Leadership Development. In 2015 to 2017, they enrolled in Verus Global and completed the Pathways to Leadership program, broadening their expertise in leadership. Finally, in 2017, Tammy Conistis received the ITIL Foundation Certificate - IT Service Management from AXELOS GLOBAL, further augmenting their knowledge in IT service management.
