Arundhati Parmar has extensive work experience in the field of healthcare journalism. Arundhati began their career as an Associate Editor at SiliconIndia in 2001 and later worked as a Staff Writer at Marketing News from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, they served as a Business Reporter at the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette. Arundhati then worked as a Reporter at Crain Communications from 2006 to 2007. Arundhati joined Dolan Media (Finance and Commerce) in 2008 as a Staff Writer, covering technology and economic development. During their time there, they wrote investigative stories on a developer's bioscience park project. From 2011 to 2013, Arundhati worked as a Medical Devices Reporter at MedCity Media, where they focused on healthcare startups and large medical device companies. Arundhati then joined UBM Advanced Manufacturing in 2013 as a Senior Editor, covering medtech companies and digital health tools. Since 2016, Arundhati has been the Vice President and Editor-in-Chief at MedCity News, responsible for developing the editorial and content strategy for the publication and its events.

Arundhati Parmar completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from Jadavpur University in the years 1995 to 1998. Arundhati then pursued a Masters in English Literature from the University of Sydney in 1999. In 2000 to 2001, they attended Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism to further their studies with a Masters degree in Journalism.
