Hector Caraballo

Hector Caraballo, MD, currently serves as a Medical Doctor at Vital Essence Medica since January 2024 and has held the position of Chief Medical Officer at MedCognition, Inc. since August 2016, where Hector is involved in enhancing healthcare training through simulation technologies. Previously, Hector carried the title of Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UT Health San Antonio from January 2013 to July 2017, while also contributing to the American College of Emergency Physicians for a decade. Additional experience includes leadership roles such as President of Deltroy Inc., and various clinical positions in emergency medicine at organizations like Baptist Health System and Texas Emergency Care Specialists from 2011 to 2012. Hector earned an MD from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2001 and a BA from Amherst College in 1994.
