Alec Daniels

Alec Daniels has extensive experience in the field of technology, with their most recent position being a DevOps Engineer at MedCrypt since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Kintsugi Technology starting in 2020. From 2018 to 2021, Alec served as the Head of DevOps at Open Practice Solutions, where they played a crucial role in designing and implementing the transition to AWS, introducing scaling principles, and adopting a microservice architecture.

Before this, Alec held the position of Web Software Developer at Winter Equipment Company from 2015 to 2018. In 2014, they worked as a Database Consultant at Kent State University, where they designed and implemented a custom database solution. Alec has also gained experience as an Administrative Assistant at Tom James Company in 2013.

In the earlier years of their career, Alec worked at Calyx as both a Help Desk Technician and a Help Desk Specialist from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they were an IT employee at Lockheed Martin, where they provided networking support, computer setup, help desk, and hardware support to NASA Glenn. Alec started their career as an IT Refresh Intern at Case Western Reserve University in 2009.

Alec Daniels attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. Additionally, from 2010 to 2014, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Information Technology from the same institute.
