Joseph Lovato

Joseph Lovato has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in the field of electronic health records (EHR).

Joseph started their career in 2000 at OHSU, where they held various roles, including Epic Technical Lead and Healthcare Applications Engineer. During this time, they developed custom applications and solutions to automate processes, improve efficiencies, and reduce human error. Joseph also played a key role in implementing and maintaining the Epic EHR system and provided technical support for Citrix, Hyperspace, Workstation, Printing, and Images.

In 2013, Lovato founded JLO Software Services, a service provider for EHR integrated solutions. As CEO, they focused on creating an end-to-end device management solution within EHR, including the automatic generation of print queues and reporting on printer health and cost of ownership.

Joseph also worked at SERJ Solutions as a Senior Developer, where they developed software solutions that integrated with Epic for improved patient care and reduced costs. This included EHR integration, web development, and integration with Active Directory.

Lovato joined Kaiser Permanente in 2015, initially as a Cache Developer and later as an Olive Architect. In the latter role, they designed, developed, and tested a near real-time data hub to transform and store data from various sources. This solution created job opportunities and applications used by thousands of users nationwide.

Most recently, Lovato joined Medcurio, Inc. as the Director of Customer Solutions. Joseph'srole involves addressing the challenges of extracting data from EHR and finding solutions to expose the data through APIs.

Outside of their healthcare work, Lovato served as a Tri-Chair for Lake Oswego Leadership from 2011 to 2012.

Joseph Lovato attended Lake Oswego Leadership from 2011 to 2013, where they completed the Business/Corporate Leadership Program. Afterward, they enrolled in Oregon Health & Science University, but no further information regarding their degree or field of study is available.
