Walter "Buzz" Stewart

Walter "Buzz" Stewart has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Walter "Buzz" currently serves as the CEO of Medcurio, a company that specializes in solving healthcare data integration problems. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2018, they held the position of Chief Research Officer at Sutter Health, where they founded and led the Sutter Research, Development, and Dissemination focusing on digital health, advanced analytics, precision medicine, and health services research.

Before joining Sutter Health, Stewart worked at Geisinger Health System from 2003 to 2012, where they served as the Associate Chief Research Officer and Founder of the Center for Health Research. Walter "Buzz" was involved in the launch and leadership of the Center, which focused on directly influencing care and supported Geisinger's nationally-recognized care models.
