Pierre van Heddegem

Pierre Van Heddegem is a seasoned professional in humanitarian operations, currently serving as the Director of Belgian Operations at Médecins du Monde Belgique since January 2022. Previously, Pierre held various roles at Artsen Zonder Grenzen België, including Emergency Coordinator and Humanitarian Program Manager, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating emergency responses to health crises across multiple countries, such as Afghanistan and Yemen. Pierre's extensive experience includes multiple project coordination and logistics management positions, along with a background in acting and directing, having worked in theater and voice acting from 2007 to 2014. Pierre holds a Humanitarian Logistics Certification from the Fritz Institute and has pursued training in creative theatre.
