Anna McDonald

Anna McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Anna started their career in 2007 as a Co-Owner, Brand Manager, and Mobile DJ at AMP Indiana Mobile DJ Service. Anna was responsible for brand promotion, sales, event planning, and music programming. Anna also created promotional materials for print and web.

In 2010, Anna joined First Databank (FDB) as a Technical Writer, collaborating with pharmacists, product managers, and implementation specialists to create technical documentation for healthcare industry products. Anna also led the documentation team through a transition from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and managed multiple customer-facing publications.

In 2019, Anna moved to RealPage, Inc. as a Technical Writer, where they led an agile project team and collaborated with development leads and business analysts to develop user guides for software-as-a-service (SaaS) products. Anna also supported management in streamlining internal processes.

Most recently, Anna joined Medecision in 2020 as a Senior Technical Writer. Anna'sresponsibilities include managing all customer-facing technical publications and customer community content production. Anna supervises contracted resources, facilitates research and migration of community content, and aims to improve customer experience and reduce content delivery time.

Anna McDonald completed their education at Purdue University, where they obtained a B.A. in Professional Writing from 2001 to 2005. Anna later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Purdue University between 2016 and 2018. In addition to their degrees, Anna also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in May 2019.
