Simon Carter

Simon brought a wealth of research and innovation expertise when he joined in 2020.

Dr Simon Carter trained as Urologist at the Institute of Urology and Baylor University, Houston. He was appointed consultant at Charing Cross Hospital, subsequently Imperial Hospitals NHS Trust, in 1993.

He spent the first part of his career designing and investigating novel treatments for benign prostatic disease. He held the post of Chief of Urology and Transplantation. He was seconded part-time to work with Doctor Foster, developing consultant-level clinical outcome metrics. He left the NHS in 2012 to become Medical Director of the London Clinic for 5 years.

He had a substantial private and medicolegal practice until 2019 when he became Medical Director of Medpass International, a consulting firm advising medical device companies from all over the world on product development, clinical investigation, European, US and international regulations and route to market.
