Fiona Wasdell-Bowyer began their work experience in 2000 as an Occupational Therapist at Whittington Hospital, where they worked on Oncology, Neurology, and General Medical wards. Fiona also had a secondment with Islington Social Services at this time. In 2002, Fiona became an Occupational Therapist at Southwark Council and later took on roles such as Senior Occupational Therapist and Project Officer for Personalisation. From 2011 to 2022, they served as the Service Manager, responsible for managing and leading various in-house provider services for Southwark Social Care, including an Independent Living Centre and a Respite Unit for individuals with disabilities and learning disabilities. Fiona's most recent work experience is with Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd, where they currently hold the position of Head of Clinical Services, starting in 2022.
Fiona Wasdell-Bowyer pursued their education in a chronological order. Fiona first attended Forest School from 1982 to 1989, but the specific degree or field of study during this time is unknown. Later, from 1989 to 1992, they studied Mathematics and earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from Durham University. Continuing their educational journey, Fiona completed a Post Graduate Certificate program in Occupational Therapy/Therapist at the University of London from 1998 to 2000.
