Elina Hautaniemi

Elina Hautaniemi is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and clinical nutrition with extensive experience in academic and healthcare settings. Currently serving as a Regulatory Affairs Expert at Oy Medfiles Ltd since January 2020, Elina previously contributed to Tampere University as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2012 to 2019, engaging in the DYNAMIC Research Project on haemodynamic changes and completing a PhD focused on the effects of liquorice and fermented milk on haemodynamics. Additional roles include teaching nutrition at Tampere University Hospital and working as a Registered Dietitian, where Elina provided nutritional counseling for various health conditions. Prior to that, Elina was a Nutrition Specialist at Oy Foodfiles Ltd, involved in clinical research projects related to nutrition. Elina holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Internal Medicine from Tampere University, a Master's in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Eastern Finland, and a Bachelor's in Pharmacy from the University of Helsinki.
