Kristi Plaas

Kristi Plaas has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Kristi started their career in SYNLAB Eesti OÜ as a Laboratory Specialist and then moved on to become a Responsible Laboratory Specialist, where they performed quality specialist duties and managed a team in a molecular diagnostic laboratory. Kristi then joined Icosagen Group as a Quality Manager, before transitioning to Oy Medfiles Ltd. At Oy Medfiles Ltd, they held multiple roles, including Regulatory Affairs Specialist, Regulatory Affairs Expert, and currently serves as the Head of Operations, Regulatory Affairs (Baltics). In their roles at Oy Medfiles Ltd, they demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in local legislation for medicinal products, medical devices, food supplements, and cosmetics. Kristi has expertise in procedures such as new MAA, renewals, variations, import & export licenses, and special permissions. Kristi is also experienced in reviewing advertising materials for various product categories. Overall, Kristi Plaas has a strong background in regulatory affairs and quality management in the healthcare industry.

Kristi Plaas completed their Bachelor's degree in Gene Technology (Molecular Biology) from the University of Tartu from 2002 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Biomedicine, also from the University of Tartu, from 2005 to 2007.
