Russell Nance

Russell Nance has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare and consulting fields. Russell started their career at PhyCor of Hattiesburg, where they served as the Director of Special Projects and Interim IT Director. During their time there, they successfully implemented and managed the facility-wide Y2K project, ensuring compliance and developing contingency plans.

Afterwards, Russell joined Vitalworks Inc. as the Projects Director. In this role, they managed a team of project managers and oversaw software implementation processes for new clients. Russell also served as the HIPAA implementation coordinator, working with clients to ensure their compliance.

In 2004, Russell became the President of NCRS, a private consulting firm specializing in ADR and project/operations management. Russell was responsible for business operations, marketing, and service delivery. Russell mediated over 300 business and contract disputes and acted as a negotiation advocate in private and business matters.

Following their time at NCRS, Russell worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in healthcare IT and EMR consulting. Russell provided guidance in all phases of the EMR/EHR adoption process, working with clients of various sizes.

Lastly, Russell worked at Medfirst Consulting Healthcare Staffing as the Director of Operations. Russell oversaw HIT projects and implementations, ranging from needs assessment to post go-live evaluations. Russell also provided professional guidance in all phases of the EMR/EHR adoption process.

Throughout their career, Russell has demonstrated leadership, project management skills, and expertise in healthcare IT and consulting.

Russell Nance pursued their undergraduate studies from 1989 to 1993 at the University of Mississippi, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Later, they attended The University of West Alabama to obtain a Master of Arts degree, although the specific years and field of study for their postgraduate education are not provided.
