Peggy Mills has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. In 1983, they started as an Elementary Physical Education teacher at Grace Brethren Elementary School, where they developed curriculum and instructed after school programs for grades K-5. Peggy then worked as an Elementary Physical Education teacher at Upper Arlington City Schools from 1988 to 1990, adapting curriculum and providing physical education to children with disabilities. From 1990 to 2017, Peggy served as an Adapted Physical Education teacher at Dublin City Schools, specializing in providing appropriate physical education to children with special needs and collaborating with educational team members.

In 2009, Peggy also worked as an Independent Provider for the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities, offering support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Peggy later became an Independent Provider at I Am Boundless, Inc. in 2019. In 2014, Peggy ventured into the health and wellness industry as a Global entrepreneur, advocating for preventative health, optimal fitness, and anti-aging. Peggy was involved with a science-based company utilizing Nrf2 activation products.

Peggy's passion for fitness and education led their to found Valemee Fitness Center (formerly UFIT) in 2016. As the founder, they designed a gym and certification program aimed at promoting lifelong fitness for individuals with neurological, physical, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Under their leadership, Valemee Fitness provided specialized personal training and fitness programming to empower clients and help schools and fitness centers do the same. In 2017, Peggy also developed the Valemee Fitness Visual Training System Certification Course Levels 1 and 2.

Additionally, Peggy has been involved with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) since 2017, obtaining certifications as an NASM-CES and CPT. More recently, in 2021, they joined the MedFit Network as an MFN Medical Fitness Specialist.

Throughout their career, Peggy's focus has been on empowering individuals with disabilities through fitness and promoting overall well-being.

Peggy Mills received their education from several institutions. Peggy completed their Master's degree in Adapted Physical Education at The Ohio State University from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate education at the same university, studying Physical Education with a focus on Health and Physical Education/Fitness from 1975 to 1980. Before attending college, Peggy attended Upper Arlington High School from 1973 to 1975, where they completed a College Prep program.

In addition to their formal education, Peggy has obtained various certifications. Peggy became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and earned the CPT-NASM certification in September 2017. Furthermore, they obtained the Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES) certification from NASM in April 2019. Peggy also holds the Adapted Physical Education And Sport Conditioning Specialist certification issued by the Ohio Department of Education in July 1991.

Peggy has continued to enhance their expertise by acquiring additional certifications. Peggy became a Stroke Recovery Specialist through the MedFit Network in February 2023 and obtained the Certified Medical Fitness Specialist certification from the same institution in October 2021. Peggy also holds a Pediatric and Adult CPR and First Aid certification obtained from the American Red Cross in June 2022.
