Mitchell Barneck

Mitchell Barneck serves as the Emergency Ultrasound Director for the Northern Region at Intermountain Healthcare since November 2022 and as an Emergency Physician with UTAH EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS, P.C. since July 2022. Additionally, Mitchell is a Co-Founder and Board Member at Light Line Medical, Inc., focusing on innovative treatments for infected medical devices, and has held the position of Chief Technology Officer from 2012 to 2015. As a Healthcare Advisor for MedForums since January 2017, responsibilities include the development of a platform for organized assessments of medical literature and resources by verified professionals. Previous roles include attending physician at EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS OF CENTRAL FLORIDA, LLP, and Director of Emergency Ultrasound Informatics during residency at Orlando Health. Mitchell's medical education culminated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Oregon Health & Science University, where clinical training occurred at a major trauma center, combined with a strong background in bioengineering from the University of Utah.
