Kenneth joined MEDHOST in 2010 as General Counsel and is responsible for oversight of all legal matters. He previously served as General Counsel of Universal Tax Systems/Taxwise (UTS), a publisher of tax preparation and electronic filing software and provider of electronic filing services, from 1993 to 2006. During that period, he also served in roles as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company. After UTS was acquired by Wolters Kluwer in 2006, Kenneth served as the Vice President of Legal of CCH Small Firm Services and Assistant General Counsel for Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting until 2010.
Kenneth began his professional career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen & Company in Atlanta. He later practiced as an attorney, concentrating in corporate and tax matters at the Atlanta firm Kilpatrick & Cody (now Kilpatrick Townsend), and Hine, Carroll and Niedrach in Rome, Georgia. Kenneth received the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and the Doctor of Law degree with honors from Georgia State University. He has earned a license as a Certified Public Accountant, is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and Tennessee and is a member of the American Bar Association.
