Hugh Bennett

Hugh Bennett is a Senior Lawyer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, specializing in prepublication and training. Hugh is also a Media Law Workshop Presenter at MEAA, providing insight on defamation, open justice, court reporting, vilification, privacy, and news gathering. With a background in litigation and disputes management, Hugh has also served as Legal Counsel at The Guardian. As a seasoned educator, Hugh has lectured on Australian Constitutional Law and Regulation of the Media at the University of Technology Sydney.
