Tom Ford

Tom Ford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales engineering and solution architecture within the video technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering and Solution Architecture at Media Excel since April 2024, Tom previously held a similar role at MediaKind from August 2014 to April 2024, focusing on video compression and delivery. Tom's earlier career includes significant positions at Cisco as a Manager of Software QA and Staff Systems Engineer, overseeing quality assurance activities and contributing to IPTV technology development. Additionally, Tom worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Concurrent Computer Corporation during the early deployment of video-on-demand and began their career as a Specialist in Video Platforms at BellSouth International, Inc. Tom earned a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, completing studies in 1994.
