Currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering and Solution Architecture at Media Excel since April 2024, Tom previously held a similar role at MediaKind from August 2014 to April 2024, focusing on video compression and delivery. Tom's earlier career includes significant positions at Cisco as a Manager of Software QA and Staff Systems Engineer, overseeing quality assurance activities and contributing to IPTV technology development. Additionally, Tom worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Concurrent Computer Corporation during the early deployment of video-on-demand and began their career as a Specialist in Video Platforms at BellSouth International, Inc. Tom earned a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, completing studies in 1994.
