Kathleen Schwiezke has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Kathleen is currently working as the General Director of Marketing for Media Impact, overseeing the marketing and brand management of various media brands owned by Axel Springer, including WELT Gruppe, ICON Group, Business Insider, finanzen.net, upday, Rolling Stone, Musikexpress, Metall Hammer, Funke Tageszeitung & Gesundheitsportale, viacom. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director of Axel Springer Media Italia S.r.l. In their previous role as the Director Luxury & Lifestyle at Media Impact, they were responsible for directing luxury sales and media strategies. Kathleen also held the position of General Manager Luxury Sales at Media Impact, where they focused on international clients from the luxury, fashion, beauty, and design sectors. Kathleen has also worked as a freelance consultant in marketing, communications, and media strategy. Kathleen's earlier experience includes roles as the Advertising Director for VOGUE and Sales Director for VOGUE Germany at Condé Nast Verlag. Kathleen started their career in the advertising department of ELLE at Hubert Burda Media and also gained experience as an editorial trainee at ZDF and a freelance editor and presenter at Radio Gong 96.3.
Kathleen Schwiezke attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 1995 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Magister Artium (MA). During their time at the university, Kathleen focused their studies on Communication, Market and Consumer Psychology, as well as German and Russian Literature.
