Payton Armstrong

Payton Armstrong has extensive experience in research and media analysis, currently serving as a researcher at Media Matters for America since July 2020. Prior roles include Media Analyst II and Media Analyst, showcasing a progressive career within the organization. Prior to joining Media Matters, Payton gained experience as a Press Intern in the Office of Senator Elizabeth Warren during May 2019, and also worked as a Research Assistant at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy in late 2018. Payton Armstrong holds a degree in Government and Public Policy with a focus on American Government and Politics from Smith College, completed in 2020, and is a graduate of Boise High School.
