Rachael LaManna

Programmatic Media Lead at Media Matters Worldwide

Rachael LaManna has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to 2018. Rachael started their career as a Staff Writer at HerCampus, an e-newspaper, from September 2010 to May 2011. From March 2011 to May 2012, they worked as a Hostess at Carson's Ribs. In 2012, they joined UIC Public Affairs as a Social Media Intern, Journalist, and Reporter, where they designed a social media outlet for UIC students and updated the Twitter feed during key events. Rachael also worked at KP Law, LLC as a PR/Marketing/Writer, implementing and managing a unique marketing strategy.

In 2012, Rachael joined Wrapports, Sun-Times Media as a Digital Advertising Operations Intern, collaborating on various ad campaigns and analyzing impressions and Click-Through-Rate for Sun-Times Media publications. Rachael then became a Digital Advertising Sales Planner, where they trained and advised a new sales planner team, analyzed and tracked digital revenue, and implemented new marketing outlets.

Rachael continued their career at VISISEEK Inc. as a Junior Media Buyer from May 2014 to April 2015, and then joined Media Matters Worldwide in April 2015 as a Programmatic Media Buyer. Finally, they transitioned to the role of Programmatic Media Lead in August 2018.

Rachael LaManna completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the University of Illinois Chicago between 2009 and 2013.
