Carryn-Ann Nel

Carryn-Ann Nel has extensive work experience in the media industry and academia. Carryn-Ann worked at Media24 (Pty) Ltd in multiple roles, including Head of Content/Journalist and Script Writer. Carryn-Ann also worked as a Lecturer at Stellenbosch University. At Media24, they held positions such as Senior Journalist and News Editor, where they managed a team and oversaw news operations. Carryn-Ann'swork experience spans from 2006 to the present.

Carryn-Ann Nel pursued their education in journalism, starting with a National Diploma in Journalism from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, which they completed between 2003 and 2005. Carryn-Ann then continued their education by enrolling in Stellenbosch University, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Journalism, expected to be completed in 2022.
