Chevon Booysen

Chevon Booysen is a freelance journalist with extensive experience in community and local news. Beginning with an internship at Media24's People's Post in early 2014, Chevon transitioned to a full-time journalist position focusing on Grassy Park and Lansdowne. Since 2014, Chevon has continued to contribute to Media24 while also working as a self-employed journalist since 2017, consistently meeting strict deadlines and adhering to style guidelines. Chevon's background includes a Diploma in Journalism from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and earlier experience in customer service as a cell phone helpdesk assistant at PEP.
