Matthew Hsieh

Matthew Hsieh has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Matthew is currently working as a Technical Program Manager at MediaAlpha since January 2021. Before that, they worked at Amazon for six years, from August 2015 to January 2021, as a Technical Program Manager.

Prior to their time at Amazon, Matthew served as a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2013 to May 2015. Additionally, they had a brief period at Amazon in 2014 as a Technical Program Manager and in 2013 as a Software Development Engineer.

Matthew's early career included a role as a Systems Programmer at UPMC from April 2012 to January 2013. In this position, they were responsible for defining system architecture and database rules for genetic disease research and implemented MySQL database solutions for the storage and analysis of entire mouse genomes.

Matthew Hsieh obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University in the year 2014. From 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, General at Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy.
