Max Lei

Max Lei has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and data science. Max started their career at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering as a Graduate Assistant, where they worked on hardware and software implementation for epilepsy detection. Max then joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Software Engineer, where they developed web and machine learning applications. Max then worked at Madwire® as a Data Scientist, where they built a big data solution for customer analytics using Google Cloud Platform. After that, they joined Thinkful as a Data Science Mentor, where they mentored students in various topics related to machine learning and data science. Currently, Max is working at MediaAlpha as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, leading the AdTech ML team and designing a comprehensive ML platform. Throughout their career, Max has demonstrated strong technical skills and leadership abilities.

Max Lei completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Max enrolled in this program from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the same school, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Max Lei also obtained a certification in "CS190.1x: Scalable Machine Learning" from edX in August 2015.
