Liling Tan

Liling Tan is an experienced journalist with a comprehensive background in international reporting and editorial leadership. Currently serving as Editor for the International Desk at Mediacorp Pte Ltd since February 2022, Liling Tan covers significant developments across the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and Oceania, and co-hosts the Climate Conversations podcast. Previously, Liling Tan held various roles at Feature Story News, including United Nations Correspondent, where coverage spanned peace and security issues, crises, and climate change, earning an award from the UN Correspondents Association. Other notable positions include Editor at IBT Media, Business Correspondent at FSN, and a journalism career that began at Singapore Press Holdings. Liling Tan holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications, Politics & Law, and Journalism from Emerson College and an Associate degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Bay Path University.
