Dang Sananikone

Dang Sananikone has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Dang started as a Team Leader at Hitachi Europe in 1996 and later joined Renesas Technology Europe as a Team Leader for the SH-Mobile group. In 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer at Aspex Semiconductor and eventually became a Team Leader, responsible for delivering new features for video encoding and decoding. In 2012, Ericsson Television acquired Aspex Semiconductor and Dang became a Senior Software Architect, collaborating with product owners and architects to evaluate technologies and analyze customer requirements. In 2018, Ericsson Television rebranded to MediaKind Global, and Dang continued their role as a Technology Expert, evaluating technologies for future products and creating proof-of-concepts.

Dang Sananikone obtained their B.Eng degree in Electronics from the University of Aberdeen, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Dang then continued their education at the same university and successfully completed a PhD in Electronic Engineering from 1992 to 1996.
