Shahar Bar

Shahar Bar is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Harmonic, a position held since 1999, with a strong focus on corporate strategy, acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. Previously, Shahar led Harmonic's video division, realigning its strategy towards cloud-based streaming and successfully productizing the SaaS video streaming platform VOS360, achieving significant market adoption and substantial annual recurring revenue. Shahar has a background in product management and software engineering, contributing to advancements in network management and analytics software. Additional experience includes serving on the boards of Encoding.com and VJU iTV Development GmbH, co-founding Togetherhood.com, and involvement with Matcha as an advisory board member. Shahar holds an MBA and a BSCE in Information Systems Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
