Steve Schwartz

Steve Schwartz has extensive work experience in the technology and media industries. Steve is currently working at MediaKind as a Program Director for NBA Next Gen, where they lead a cross-functional team in delivering OTT cloud-based video solutions for the NBA. Prior to this role, they worked at IBM Watson Media, where they served as the Director of the Program Management Office and Customer Success Team, overseeing the delivery of Watson Media Video Solutions. Steve also held the position of Program Director at Clearleap, managing client relationships and delivering OTT solutions for NFL Mobile and HBO Nordic. Before joining IBM Watson Media, they worked at Ericsson as a Director, Media Services, Product Manager, and Senior Program Manager, where they were responsible for defining the direction and requirements for the SA Media Services Portfolio Offerings. Steve also worked at Tandberg Television as a Senior Program Manager. Earlier in their career, they served as the VOD Operations Program Manager at Cox Communications, where they were accountable for all aspects of the VOD project life cycle. Steve also held management positions at LHS Group and Datalex in the field of IT.

Steve Schwartz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Montclair State University. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the following: Cloud Core from IBM in May 2020, IBM Certified Manager in July 2019, and Data Science Foundations - Level 1 from IBM in April 2018. Steve also holds certifications as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance and has completed various certifications through IBM, including Cognitive Practitioner, Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner, and IBM Agile Explorer.
