Tony Howard

Tony Howard has a strong background in sales engineering and systems engineering, with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Tony is currently working as the Director of Sales Engineering at MediaKind since February 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Ericsson for 9 years as a Principal Systems Engineer.

Before joining Ericsson, Tony was employed at TANDBERG Television, a part of the Ericsson Group, where they held various roles, including Principal Systems Engineer and Customer Support Manager, from 1998 to 2010.

Tony also worked at NDS from 1995 to 1998 as a Senior Programme Manager.

Tony'scareer began at NTL in 1989, where they held the positions of Specialist and Senior Engineer, focusing on pre-MPEG digital codecs and telemetry and automation projects.

Tony's early work experience includes roles at IBA as an Engineer in the Transmitter Projects Section and later as an Engineer in the Telemetry and Automation department. During this time, they were involved in computer system procurement, telemetry software projects, and writing code.

Tony Howard attended Denes High School in Lowestoft, UK from 1974 to 1978, where they completed their high school education. Afterward, from 1978 to 1982, they studied at Loughborough University, where they obtained a B.Sc degree in Electronic Engineering & Physics. In 1987, Tony received the Chartered Engineer certification from the Engineering Council in the UK.
