Vincent Ripoche has a diverse work experience in the field of video software engineering. Vincent started their career at Astellia as a Hardware/Development Engineer from January 2004 to June 2004. Vincent then joined Ateme as a Video Codec Engineer from October 2004 to October 2006, where they worked on the development of MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 reference software encoder.
In October 2006, they transitioned to TDF as a Software Engineer until March 2008. At TDF, their role involved software development. Vincent then joined Orange in March 2008 as a Video Software Engineer, where they worked on various tasks including the development of a Start-Over application for ADSL TV on PC. Vincent also conducted video quality tests for TV streaming on ADSL.
In December 2008, Vincent joined Envivio as a Senior Video Software Engineer and worked there until October 2015. During their time at Envivio, they contributed to video software development.
From October 2015 to December 2019, Vincent worked at Ericsson as a Senior Video Software Engineer, where they continued their work in the field. Currently, they are employed at MediaKind as a Senior Video Software Engineer since January 2019.
Vincent Ripoche began their education in 1999 at the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rennes, where they pursued a Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Systems. Vincent completed this program in 2004. Later that year, in 2004, they briefly attended the University of Adelaide, where they obtained another Master's degree, this time in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
