Lead Project Manager-Senior Project Manager at Medialocate

Amy Tamayo has over 15 years of professional experience. Amy began their career in 2003 as a Program Coordinator for the Coalition for Hispanic Family Services. In 2005, they moved to Studio in a School where they served as an Early Childhood Program Coordinator. In 2007, they joined Acoustiguide as a Senior Creative Project and Digital Assets Manager. In 2016, they joined Squeaky Wheel Media as an Associate Project Manager and then moved to Eriksen Translations Inc. in 2017, where they served as a Project Manager. In 2019, they joined MediaLocate as a Lead Project Manager-Senior Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing projects from 1-29 languages and R100-100,000 and the overall program for the assigned major clients, preparing project proposals, developing project strategy, organizing time, tasks, and resources into schedules, and preparing project budgets.

Amy Tamayo obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Photography from the School of Visual Arts between 1996 and 2000. Amy then went on to earn a Master's degree in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute between 2009 and 2011. In 2015, they obtained a Certificate in Project Management Professional Exam Prep from Pace University. In 2016, they obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. Finally, in November 2022, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC).
